WORKSHOPS

We have divided our pilot workshops into Key Stage divisions to match up with school year groups in the UK education system. Have a look below to see which one of our workshops is right for you, but feel free to try all the other workshops too - creativity transcends age categories!

KEY STAGE 1

These workshops are designed for children aged 5-7.

In this pilot project, we explore our gardens or local green space, searching for life lurking in its nooks. Taking inspiration from Lizzie Stewart's 'There's a Tiger in the Garden', we create our own magical garden scenes.

Drawing, printing, collage and ink work liberate our imaginations to produce visually exciting landscapes.

KEY STAGE 2

These workshops are designed for those aged 7- 11 years old.

In the current pilot project we explore the idea of 'transformation' - turning one thing into another using our creativity and imagination.

We will experiment with printing techniques, line drawings and open ended sculpture making.

KEY STAGE 3

These workshops are designed for those aged 11- 14 years old.

You are invited to 'travel' in your imagination in this pilot project. We will transport ourselves to other worlds through memories and different materials, and learn how to visually evoke these places and emotions for the viewer.

We will experiment with illustration, assemblage and photography, and explore the concepts of other artists.

We will be launching workshops for Key Stage 4 & 5 in the coming months.

These workshops will help those taking GCSE and A level courses, or those wishing to extend their learning.
