Workshops for 7 - 11 year olds
A project to stretch the imagination and use simple forms, objects and starting points to create art with interest and meaning.
You will explore line drawing techniques and collage using craft materials commonly found at home.
There is an encouragement of no 'right or wrong' - this workshop is about exploring new techniques and transforming simple ideas into more meaningful assembled artworks.
PREPPING FOR THE WORKSHOP
This workshop can be completed using art and craft materials that this age group of children often have at home. However, more specialised alternatives are presented with links to where they can be purchased.
Each workshop can take as little as an hour to do, but there are opportunities to extend the ideas and learning beyond. Some children may need some support to follow the workshop guides and instructions.
