FIONA McTAGGART
Fiona McTaggart is an artist teacher and mother. A thirst for lifelong learning has equipped Fiona with a Fine Art Painting degree from Glasgow School of Art (2003), Teaching Diploma in Secondary Art Education (Bristol University, 2006), Masters in Education (Artist Teacher Scheme, Oxford Brookes University, 2013) and recently she has embarked on an MA in Illustration (AUB). At the core of her ongoing study is a desire to bring fresh and innovative ideas to her students’ and own Art practice. Fiona has taught in the state and independent school sectors, the pinnacle of her career leading a successful Art department in London. Fiona’s Art classroom is a place where creatives interact in a shared learning environment, embracing multi-disciplinary and meaningful Art practice. Fiona now resides in Poole where she teaches part time, balancing this with further study and motherhood.
